Paola greeted us with chilled water and gave awesome local tips for dining. We stayed in a beautiful room with a terrace, featuring strong shower pressure and cozy decor. The fridge had fresh juices and yogurt for breakfast. Fantastic location near the Cathedral, and secure parking just a short walk away made this stay superb.

My stay at Il Salotto Di Maria Pia Bed & Breakfast was exceptional. Paola was incredibly hospitable, assisting with parking arrangements and offering fantastic dining recommendations, including a must-visit restaurant, DaVe. The room was quaint and clean, and the award-winning balcony provided breathtaking views, making it a truly memorable experience.

We had such a lovely time here! The place has this amazing old-world vibe, super quirky and totally unique. Paola was the best host, so friendly and had great dinner spots to check out. The little balcony was perfect for morning coffee! Just a tad noisy at night with the cafe below, though.

We spent 2 nights in a charming little room with a terrace that had this magical view of the square. Paola welcomed us with cold water and an very nice list of local dining spots, helped us navigate the area like a pro.

Sure it wasn’t exactly cheap but it was still reasonable for what we experienced.

Our Double Room with Balcony offered amazing views of the Piazza, and the charming decor added a unique touch to our experience. The fridge stocked with fresh snacks was a nice twist on traditional breakfasts, providing a lovely start to our days. The only downside was the early check-out time, which felt a bit rushed.

The room size feels cramped for two adults, making navigation around the bed and small table a challenge, especially with bags in tow. Street noise can be bothersome at night if you're a light sleeper, and the absence of adequate storage for clothing and luggage is a letdown considering the price tag. A slightly funky smell in the bathroom occasionally intrudes on the overall charm, which could use a good airing out. Also, navigating the stairs with luggage might be tricky for some guests.
